Moreover, the countrywide daily Covid tally showed that Sindh reported the maximum number of Covid infected patients, with 569,338, followed by Punjab (502,264), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (216,614), Islamabad (134,519), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (43,068), Balochistan (35,361), and Gilgit Baltistan (11,543).

The last time the country reported less than 900 coronavirus patients on critical care in a single day was on January 18, 2022.
