The Ukrainian President has garnered global praise for fighting to defend his country against the Russian invasion, which is why it comes as no surprise that people are already speculating a biopic.

The uncanny resemblance between Zelensky and Renner became apparent when social media users posted pictures of both men side by side.

The fan-casting however quickly received backlash from many who reminded them that Ukraine was in the middle of a ‘real war.”
