Pakistan has reported less than 4,000 coronavirus cases in a single day after more than three weeks, showing a downward trajectory in the country’s Covid graph.

In related news, the National Command and Operation Centre said on Monday that the nationwide vaccination campaign has started to give “outstanding results."

“Statistics 7 Feb 22: total tests in last 24 hours: 44,779; positive cases: 3,338; positivity %: 7.45%; deaths: 38; patients on critical care: 1,684,” the NCOC said in a tweet on Monday.

The countrywide tally showed that Sindh had the highest number of infected patients, 552,262 cases, followed by Punjab (489,655), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (203,110), Islamabad (131,628), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (40,741), Balochistan (34,819), and Gilgit Baltistan (10,896).

The last time, the country had reported less than 4,000 Covid cases was on January 13 when as many as 3,567 cases were reported out of the 48,449 tests conducted over the last 24 hours.
