Pakistan's first transgender woman Sarah Gill, who recently completed her MBBS, has been offered a house job at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) , reported Geo.

She met JPMC Executive Director Prof Dr Shahid Rasool on Tuesday and obtained a letter confirming her house job at the government hospital.

Earlier, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had urged the Sindh government to expeditiously arrange for Gill's house job, prompting Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to give directions to the JPMC administration to immediately issue a letter authorising Gill's house job.

Gill, on January 18, shared a video of herself on Facebook, announcing that she had completed her MBBS and she was now officially "Dr Sarah Gill Khan".
