According to Harvard Medical School, the Takotsubo Syndrome, also known as broken heart syndrome, is a weakening of the left ventricle, the heart's main pumping chamber, usually as the result of severe emotional or physical stress, such as a sudden illness, the loss of a loved one, a serious accident, or a natural disaster such as an earthquake.

But what’s most unusual about this syndrome is that it almost exclusively occurs in women.

The medical report signed by Dr. Fayaz Shawl of the Washington Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center, has turned Nawaz Sharif into a target for social media trolls and memes.
