This is the latest development in a two year court battle between the two singers, which started in 2018 after Shafi filed a sexual harassment case against Zafar.

Since the development both the singers have taken to the micro blogging site Twitter to express how they feel.

Shafi penned a heartfelt note about how difficult the last four years have been for her and how it took so much time to just get one “single case going while being attacked by multiple cases”.

She also praised her legal team while acknowledging all those “who have continued to support this cause against all odds”, deeming them the reason for “celebrating today”.

She also went on to thank her mother for being her “rock”, while mentioning those that helped her most, through what she called an “unfair and ghastly vitriol”.

Meanwhile Zafar also had comments of his own and in a cryptic tweet called out some “criminals”, for celebrating “self-proclaimed victory by spreading complete misinformation and lies.”

He goes on to state that there is “NO such verdict as projected.” He also says that he has been “quite patient with all this smear” but will set the record straight.

He further tweeted that he will present undeniable facts while adding that he has been silent about what actually happened to “allow some face saving” while adding that he thinks “they don’t really deserve it.” He went on in the same cryptic tone and finished his tweets with “each and everyone, their links, their connections, the money, everything”.
