Junaid will serve "vote ko izzat do" slogan: PML-N's Capt Safdar

PML-N leader retired Captain Mohammad Safdar speaking to the media out the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday said that his and PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz’s son, Junaid Safdar will join politics.

“This is the writing on the wall that he will go into politics. A lawyer's son becomes a lawyer, a doctor's son becomes a doctor, a pir's son becomes his successor and Junaid is from a family of politicians,” said Safdar.

Reminiscing about his son’s childhood, Safdar said that Junaid used to cling to his grandfather, PML-N supermo Nawaz Sharif during his imprisonment at Attock Fort after the military coup led by General (retd) Pervez Musharraf in 1999.

Safdar told that media that Junaid would serve the slogan, ‘vote ko izzat do’ and the constitution of Pakistan. “That is why he is becoming a barrister,” he added.

Junaid has been in the headlines recently for his grand wedding festivities earlier this month, and Twitter users “knew it was a soft launch for Junaid Safdar in politics.”
