The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday disposed of a writ petition seeking Prime Minister Imran Khan's disqualification under Article 62(i)(f) of the Constitution for not being "sadiq and ameen".

The petition, dating back to 2018, sought Imran Khan's disqualification for not declaring Tyrian White as his daughter in the nomination papers filed with the ECP.

A two-member bench comprising IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the case.

The petitioner, Abdul Wahab Baloch, was a candidate of the Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party in the 2018 general election, when the petition was filed.

He later joined the PTI and also filed a petition to withdraw the case in February 2019.
