      <title>Pak vs WI: Karachi police devise comprehensive security plan

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;KARACHI: Karachi police have chalked out a comprehensive security strategy for the three Twenty20s and three One-day Internationals between Pakistan and West Indies, starting on December 13 at the National Stadium in Karachi, according to a &lt;em&gt;Geo News&lt;/em&gt; report.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Additional Inspector General Imran Yaqoob Minhas presided over a meeting on Thursday at the Sindh Boys Scouts Auditorium to discuss and finalise the strategy.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Security and Emergency Services Division DIG Maqsood Ahmed gave a briefing on the strict security measures that will be undertaken during the tour.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Along with Karachi Traffic Police, at least 46 DSPs, 13 senior Karachi police officials, 3,822 constables and head constables, 50 women officers, 500 Rapid Response Force personnel and 899 commandos from the Special Security Unit will be deployed along the routes leading up to the National stadium, practice grounds, hotels and parking areas. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Non-uniformed personnel from the Special Branch will also be stationed at the National Stadium and hotels hosting the players. In the event of an emergency, a Special Weapons and Tactics Squad would also be ready to respond.&lt;/p&gt;
