Media has descended on Rajasthan to report on the rumored wedding between the two though the couple have not yet officially confirmed they are getting married this weekend.

Raut posted on Instagram stories without naming the couple, praising 'wealthy and successful leading females of the film industry’ for ‘breaking sexist stereotypes’ by marrying younger men.

Kaif is five years older than Kaushal.

“Growing up, we heard many stories of successful rich men marrying much younger women… For women to be more successful than their husband was seen as a major crisis, forget marrying a younger man after a certain age, marriage was impossible for women …. Nice to see rich and successful women, leading ladies of the Indian film industry breaking sexist norms…. Kudos to men and women both for redefining gender stereotypes,” she said.

Raut has herself expressed a desire to marry saying she hopes to be a wife and mother in the next five years.

Kaif and Kaushal have maintained a low profile personal relationship and have reportedly been together since 2019.

They were pictured separately arriving in Jaipur with their families earlier this week and are said to be getting married at the Six Senses in Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan.
