Umer Jaral, an artist with cerebral palsy, on Tuesday presented Prime Minister Imran Khan portraits of the premier he created in spite of his neurological disorders that affect the movement of muscles.

The wheelchair-bound artist, 34, made the paintings because he admires the prime minister very much.

In September, journalist Naimat Khan shared pictures of Jaral creating a portrait of the premier, adding the differently-abled artist wanted to present the painting to Khan himself.

In his tweet, the journalist asked if anyone could connect the artist to the PM house.

Focal Person to Prime Minister on Digital Media Dr Arslan Khalid arranged the meeting, wrote the journalist in his tweet on Tuesday.

The prime minister lauded Jaral's artwork and termed him a symbol of motivation and inspiration for others.

Jaral was born with cerebral palsy and has been making paintings since the age of 12. The disease, according to Jaral's brother, is likely to make a patient bed-ridden.
