Lawyer Shahzad Qureshi has filed a complaint on Amjad's behalf at the Kohsar Police Station magistrate office.

The petition was then sent to the Additional Session Judge Atta Rabbani. The court will hear the petition on Saturday.

In his petition Amjad states that he arrived at house no 60, street-7 with his team at 7:30pm on July 20 for "medical intervention" with a team.

At the time of his arrival, Zahir was in his room on the upper floor of the house, he maintained.

He said the security guard outside the house told them that Zahir didn’t possess any weapon.

Amjad stated that he entered Zahir’s room by putting a ladder outside the room’s window as Zahir didn’t come downstairs after 15-20 minutes of the team’s arrival.

He said that Zahir fired at him with a 9mm pistol but he missed the shot.

Amjad accused the IO of Noor's murder case as trying to "benefit" Zahir by nominating Amjad as a suspect instead of a witness.

He claimed that he, along with the other workers, saw Noor Mukadam’s dead body.

The petitioner added that he has been working with Therapy Works for at least 1.5 years. The organisation provides medical treatment to drugs addicts and mentally unstable people.

Amjad was one of the six Therapy Works employees indicted in the case. They have been accused of helping Zahir hide the crime.

Noor was brutally murdered in Zahir's house on July 20 in Islamabad. Zahir is the main accused in her murder.
