      <title>Third int’l PACES Competitions to start from Nov 1: ISPR

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The third International Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System (PACES) competition will be held in Lahore from November 1 to 7 under the arrangements made by the Pakistan Army.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The contingents from six countries, namely Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and the UAE, comprising 107 military personnel will take part in the mega event whereas officials from Myanmar, Indonesia and Egypt will participate as observers, according to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) media release.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Nine teams from the Pakistan Army comprising 121 players will also participate in the international competition.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Four international teams from Jordan, Palestine, Sri Lanka and the UAE, have arrived at Lahore, while remaining two teams from Uzbekistan and Iraq are likely to reach the country by October 31, it added.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;“Opening ceremony will be held on November 1 at Fortress Stadium and closing ceremony will be organized at Ayub Stadium on November 7,” read the ISPR press release.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Earlier, first and second International PACES competitions were organized in 2016 and 2018 in Lahore.&lt;/p&gt;
