According to the reports, the fire ignited at a house in the Pir Jahanian area of Muzaffar Garh district.

According to rescue workers, the family was sleeping in the house when the fire broke out. The dead included four children and two women.

As per reports, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained but police investigation is underway.

As being reported, the victims included 65-year-old Mohammad Nawaz, 35-year-old Khurshid Mai, 19-year-old Fouzia Mai, three boys ages 3, 10, 12, and a 2-month-old infant.
