The FBR extended the date to facilitate a large number of tax fillers, who have yet not filed their income tax returns as the last date for returns is expiring today.

In view of peoples’ demand, the FBR has decided to extend the date for filing of the return till October 15th, they said. The FBR had earlier declared September 29th as the last date for filing of tax returns across the country.
