In an informal meeting with journalists at the party secretariat in Model Town, Maryam Nawaz said that Muhammad Zubair's video was his personal matter and that he and his wife have been receiving threats for two years.

She said that Zubair is and will remain her spokesperson, adding that no one can threaten me as Nawaz Sharif gave a befitting reply to the threats given earlier.

She said that there should be a system to give justice in the country, not a system to imprison the three-time prime minister.

“I want Nawaz Sharif to return before December as he is eager to come to Pakistan,” said Maryam adding those who want to challenge me they should do it in politics.

Maryam Nawaz met Shahbaz Sharif before the party meeting and congratulated him on winning the case in a London court. He said that he has become an international Sadiq Amin.

She said that there is no provision in the constitution to extend chairman NAB’s tenure.
