The First Information Report of the case was registered in Golra police station on July 6.

The police arrested Mirza, the co-owner of a car business, when a video surfaced on social media showing him harassing and torturing the couple at an apartment in Sector E-11 of Islamabad.

In next few days, the police raided multiple areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and nabbed his accomplices.
