      <title>Pakistan records drop in Covid deaths for third consecutive day

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pakistan has reported a drop in both the number of people who died of coronavirus and the positivity rate which stood below 4% for the second consecutive day according to Monday's data by NCOC.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to the NCOC data tweeted on Monday, 1,757 tested positive for Covid from the 48,732 conducted, making the total cases to 1,240,425.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It also showed 31 deaths in the last 24 hours. This is a drop from the previous day of 42 deaths reported on Sunday and Saturday. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The positivity ratio was 3.60% which was below 4% for the first time in almost four months for the second consecutive day. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This also shows a drop in active cases which is 50,651, with the nationwide recoveries rising to 1,162,177.  &lt;/p&gt;
