NZ cricket team to leave Pakistan on a special chartered flight

New Zealand cricket team will leave Pakistan today on a special chartered flight after the abrupt cancellation of series between the two countries due to security threats, reported Aaj News.

Despite Prime Minister Imran Khan's assurances to his New Zealand counterpart about fool proof security measures for the Kiwi team in the country during a telephonic conversation, the decision was not revoked.

The special plane will land at Islamabad Airport at 6:00pm and will transport Kiwi players, who are staying in a private hotel in Islamabad, to the United Arab Emirates first.

From the Gulf country, the flight will go for the destination, New Zealand.

Shocked and disappointed Pakistanis expressed rage against New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on social media platform as the decision of the guest team's country remained same after the heads of two countries had the telephonic conversation.
