Advocate Raja Rizwan Abbasi made this remark in Thursday's hearing of the case presided over by District and Sessions Judge Atta Rabbani.

Rabbani said that once the in-camera request is filed, he would make a decision in accordance with the law.

In-camera proceedings refer to proceedings which are conducted in private, away from the public and press presence. It is usually done to protect the privacy of the parties.

Zahir Jaffer is accused of murdering Noor on July 20 at his home in a gruesome manner.

Abbasi is representing his parents Zakir and Asmat Jaffer.

Zahir was present in court along with his parents and three others. Therapy Works CEO and five of his staff members are out on bail.

Rabbani has asked all to be present at the next hearing on Sept. 23 when they will be provided with copies of the latest challan (charge-sheet).

It's expected that the indictment process will begin thereafter.

In an earlier hearing, reports surfaced of Asmat Jaffer snatching phone of a reporter and deleting videos he'd made of her. This prompted much criticism on social media.

This has raised concerns about the Jaffer family receiving preferential treatment.
