In a tweet, the Punjab police confirmed the news of arresting one of the culprits, saying the sexual harasser was apprehended in few hours as the police utilised the latest technology and conducted instant action.

The medical tests of the victims were conducted in the Jinnah Hospital.

Briefing on the details, the Aaj News reporter said, the woman along with her daughter reached a bus stand in Lahore from Vehari. From there, she booked a rickshaw and was on her way to Saddar, however, she didn’t know the route to her destination.

The rickshaw driver brought them to LDA Avenue Lahore and he along with his accomplice harassed them sexually.

The police have recorded statement of security guard who was on the bus stand, while the forensic teams have collected evidences from the crime scene.
