&lt;p&gt;A story in Reuters estimates Pakistan is reporting 4,351 new infections on average each day, 74% of the peak — the highest daily average reported on June 17.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The total number of positive cases has crossed a million and stands at 1,105,300, whereas 993,304  have recovered from coronavirus and 24,573 have died.  &lt;/p&gt;
