Balochistan's next CM will be a jiyala: Bilawal tells Quetta rally

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Sunday said he was confident his party would form the next government in Balochistan. He was addressing a rally in Quetta when he said PPP was the only party that could solve Balochistan's issues.

Addressing the rally, the young Zardari said the province had witnessed a lot of difficulties in the last few years and said only his party cared for the wellbeing of the poor.

He was sure the next chief minister would be a jiyala (PPP loyalist).

"Together, we will find solutions to the problems being faced by the people of this province and reach out to each and every district,” he said.

He also welcomed Abdul Qadir Baloch and Sanaullah Zehri from the PML-N into the party.

Baloch addressed the rally and explained why he left the PML-N, saying it had no presence in Balochistan and neither did the PTI.

“The PPP established its worth on merit,” Baloch said.

Zehri, told the rally that he left PML-N because its leader Nawaz Sharif “disrespected” party members from Balochistan, when respect was "the only thing we asked for from Punjab."

He asked Zardari the people expected him not to do with them what Sharif did because he was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's grandson.

Reacting to the PPP leader's comments at the rally, PTI's state minister for information said it would not be possible for Bhutto-Zardari to have a chief minister in Balochistan because the party has been relegated to a provincial party, adding that the PPP can't overthrow the federal government.

"Bilawal had now chosen Balochistan after he had failed to spread chaos in other parts of the country,” Habib said.

“Bilawal should tell as to how he would overthrow the federal government with a party which had been relegated to a province,” Habib questioned.
