According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the prime minister laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument upon arrival.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Farman Shah and Chief Minister Mehmood Khan also accompanied the prime minister.

Prime minister Imran Khan was briefed in detail about prevalent security situation, ongoing stabilization operations, fencing along Pak-Afghan Border and socio-economic development projects being undertaken in Newly Merged Districts (NMDs), an ISPR press release issued here said.
