The tragic incident took place near Ada Sikandari on Shujaabad Road in Lodhran's Dunyapur, where Muhammad Saleem's children were watching TV in a room when the roof of under construction house suddenly collapsed, killing five children and injuring three others. The injured were shifted to District Head Quarter Hospital.

The dead included Musa Saleem, 8, Maimona, 8, Ajwa, 6, Rehman, 4, and Hamid, 4, while Hanzala, 5, Ahmed, 6, and Haroon, 6, were injured.

As soon as the information was received, rescue and other rescue teams reached the spot in time and started the rescue operation and rescued 8 children from the rubble, out of which 3 children were injured and 5 died.
