"The prime minister has been pleased to appoint Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Sindh Affairs," said a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday.

The notification said that the appointment will be in an honorary capacity.

Former CM Sindh had earlier been a part of the Grand Democratic Alliance and had made decision to join PTI in a special meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier this month.
