Jaffer was produced at the court after completing his initial three-day remand. After a hearing, the judge extended the remand by two days.

Videos of him being produced in court have surfaced on social media.

In one of them, he can be heard responding to the question of his nationality. He replies "I am a US citizen."

The 27-year-old Noor was found brutally murdered on Tuesday at Jaffer's residence in Islamabad's home.

Jaffer was arrested at the scene of the crime and charged with premeditated murder under Section 302 on the complaint of the victim's father, former ambassador Shaukat Mukaddam.

In today's hearing, the prosecutor, Sajid Cheema, said police recovered the murder weapons from Jaffer. They included a knife, a gun and a knuckleduster. He said they had yet to recover Jaffer's and the victim's mobile phones.

He had asked for an extension of 11-day remand.

Jaffer's lawyer Shah Khawar also requested the same extension in remand, saying that courts allowed 14-day remands and Jaffer had used 3 days of it so he should be given the full remand.

Jaffer has been ordered to reappear in court on Monday.

Pakistan police has asked relevant authorities to place Jaffer on the Exit Control List.
