The Lahore High Court also hinted at disciplinary action against the judges who did not comply with the orders.

After the approval of Chief Justice Amir Bhatti of the Lahore High Court, a letter was sent to the judges of the district judiciary, asking them to leave all the non-governmental WhatsApp groups.

Judicial officers should limit their social life and district court judges should use only official WhatsApp groups, the LHC letter said.
