      <title>Pakistan inches toward 3% positivity rate as Eid approaches

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;For the fifth day Pakistan has reported a little over 1,000 daily cases of the Covid virus bringing the rate close to 3%. At present, it stands at 2.97% and with Eid approaching, there are fears it could rise.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to figures from NCOC released on Monday morning, 19 people died in the last one day. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It also said Pakistan conducted 45,245 COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours, of which 1,347 came back positive for the virus. &lt;/p&gt;
