      <title>Punjab: 203,536 citizens vaccinated in the past 24 hours

      <description>&lt;p&gt;LAHORE: Punjab's campaign against the novel coronavirus infection continues. As vaccine stocks have been replenished across the country recently, daily records for vaccines are being broken every other day in almost every region of Pakistan, particularly in Punjab, according to authorities. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As per the daily reports shared by Punjab's Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Sarah Aslam, currently, there are &lt;strong&gt;669&lt;/strong&gt; vaccination centers fully functioning across the province.  In the last 24 hours, Punjab vaccinated &lt;strong&gt;203,536&lt;/strong&gt; citizens taking the total number of people at least partially vaccinated to &lt;strong&gt;8,169,942&lt;/strong&gt;.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Taking to her official Twitter handle, the secretary further updated that &lt;strong&gt;18,528&lt;/strong&gt; COVID-19 tests were performed in the last 24 hours in Punjab, with &lt;strong&gt;141&lt;/strong&gt; new cases, &lt;strong&gt;8&lt;/strong&gt; 
Covid-related deaths and &lt;strong&gt;202&lt;/strong&gt; recoveries reported.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;As of today, Punjab's detailed COVID-19 stats are as follows:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;• The total number of coronavirus tests that have been conducted has exceeded &lt;strong&gt;5.58 million&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;• Total cases have reached &lt;strong&gt;345,796&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;• At least &lt;strong&gt;10,721&lt;/strong&gt; patients have succumbed to the deadly flu bug.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;• The number of recoveries currently stands at &lt;strong&gt;326,231&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;•  At present, there are &lt;strong&gt;8,844&lt;/strong&gt; active patients battling the viral infection in the most populated province of Pakistan. &lt;/p&gt;
