      <title>COVID-19: Pakistan reports positivity rate below 4% for seventh consecutive day

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pakistan on Monday has reported 1,490 new cases and 58 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours as the national positivity rate keeps on dropping.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to statistics shared by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, 49,285 coronavirus tests were taken countrywide, of which 1,490 came out positive.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There are currently 3,205 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted to different hospitals in the country. And the reported positivity rate is 3.02%&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed active cases stands at 
47,376. Pakistan has so far recorded 933,630 confirmed cases, 21,323 deaths, and a total of 864,931 recoveries from the novel disease.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As per the numbers shared by the Ministry of National Health Service, 92.6% of the total confirmed cases have recovered while the mortality rate is 2.3%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Currently, most active cases are reported in Sindh (23,856) followed by Punjab (14,237), and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (4,365). There are currently 2,961 active cases in Islamabad, 704 in Azad Jammu &amp;amp; Kashmir, 1,139 Balochistan, and 114 in Gilgit Baltistan.&lt;/p&gt;
