      <title>Pak/ Covid: Daily positivity rate dips to 4.96% as cases exceed 900k

&lt;p&gt;Yesterday, Pakistan saw a significant dip in the coronavirus positivity rate as it dropped to &lt;strong&gt;4.96%&lt;/strong&gt;, the lowest percentage in several weeks. Previously, the daily infection rate remained, on average, around 7-10% for the past several weeks as the third wave of Covid-19 dominated the country.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the past 24 hours, &lt;strong&gt;62,061&lt;/strong&gt; people were sampled for the viral infection out of which &lt;strong&gt;3,084&lt;/strong&gt; were found to be Covid positive, taking the national coronavirus tally past &lt;strong&gt;900,000&lt;/strong&gt;. As per the global Covid-19 statistics, &lt;strong&gt;Pakistan is the 29th most adversely affected country in the world and most likely the next to exceed the grim milestone of 1 million cases&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pakistan's latest Covid-19 statistics as provided by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) are as follows:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
