      <title>Sindh decides to keep markets open on May 7, 8

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;LAHORE: The Sindh government has decided to keep markets open on Friday and Saturday – May 7 and 8 – while complete lockdown will be imposed across the province from Sunday.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Public transport will run in Punjab on May 8, 9, 15 and 16 with fifty percent capacity. Grocery stores, sweets and bakers, meat shops, atta chakkis, fruit and vegetable shops will remain open from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Eid and Chand Raat have been prepared in Punjab. Markets will remain closed on Chand Raat and only takeaways at restaurants will be allowed.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also allowed public transport on Saturdays and Sundays during lockdown while all tourist spots will remain closed. Cargo traffic and business deliveries will continue.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In Balochistan, bazaars will remain closed on Chand Raat while inter-provincial and intra-city transport will discontinue. NNI&lt;/p&gt;
