A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed heard the coronavirus suo motu case.

Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told the court that the suppliers were charging exorbitant rates as the price for oxygen cylinders was not fixed.

CEO DRAP told the court that Oxygen is under the Ministry of Industry and we have nothing to do with it, on which the Supreme Court ordered fixing the price of oxygen cylinders.

The apex court directed the ministry of industry and production to fix the price of the cylinder in two days and also to clarify the procedure for fixing the price.

The price fixing order was issued at the request of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
