Bashir Memon only briefed on the progress of Omni Group in JIT. Bashir Memon was asked to investigate iqama case of Khawaja Asif.

Talking to the anchorpersons in Islamabad Prime Minister Imran Khan termed Bashir Memon's allegations as baseless and said that Bashir Memon was never asked to make cases or investigate against Faiz Isa, it was not his job to file a reference.

The Prime Minister said that he never asked to file a terrorism case in the case of the picture of the first lady against Maryam Nawaz. Bashir Memon briefed on the progress of Omni Group's JIT he added.

The Prime Minister said that an inquiry had been called into the matter of Khawaja Asif's iqama case. How can it be that a foreign minister takes a foreign residence and salary while being a defense minister? The decision to investigate the Khawaja Asif case was also taken in the cabinet meeting.
