      <title>COVID-19: Pakistan reports 70 deaths, 9.61% positivity rate

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pakistan on Monday has reported 4,825 new cases and 70 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours as the country struggles with the third wave of coronavirus.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to statistics shared by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, 50,161 coronavirus tests were taken, 4,825 came out positive, and 70 deaths were reported countrywide in the last 24 hours.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There are currently 4,862 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted at different hospitals in the country. And the reported positivity rate is 9.61%.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed active cases stands at 89,219. Pakistan has so far recorded 800,452 confirmed cases, 17,187 deaths, and a total of 694,046 recoveries from the novel disease.&lt;/p&gt;
