According to the sources Shaukat Tareen has been given the portfolio of Finance Ministry, while Fawad Chaudhry has been given the portfolio of Information.

Tareen has replaced federal minister Hammad Azhar, who was appointed as the country's finance minister a few weeks ago when the premier replaced him with Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.

Shibli Faraz has been given the portfolio of Science and Technology and Umar Ayub has been given the portfolio of Economic Affairs.

Hamada Azhar, who was appointed as finance minister less than a month ago, has now been given the portfolio of energy.

News of the change has become a reality for several days now. Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to reshuffle the federal cabinet.
