      <title>NCOC issues new guidelines for Ramazan

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus has issued non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) for Ramzan as the country struggles with the third wave of coronavirus.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to the details, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar chaired a meeting of NCOC on Tuesday and issued a list of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be strictly followed.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As per these new SOPs:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The market timing will be from Sehr till 6:00 pm apart from essential services&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Indoor dining will be banned, however, outdoor dining will be allowed from iftar till midnight&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Complete closure of cinemas and shrines will continue to be enforced&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;50% work from the home policy will continue&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Taraweeh prayer to be organized in open spaces&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;There will be a complete ban on contact sports, festivals, cultural gatherings, and other events&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The inter-provincial road travel ban on the weekends will remain in effect&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;All kind of indoor as well as outdoor gatherings will remain banned&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Current situation of COVID-19 in Pakistan:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Pakistan on Wednesday has reported 4,681 new cases and 135 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to statistics shared by the NCOC 48,092 coronavirus tests were taken, 4,681 came out positive, and 135 deaths were reported countrywide in the last 24 hours.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There are currently 4,216 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted at different hospitals in the country.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed cases stands at 734,423. Pakistan has so far recorded 15,754 coronavirus-related deaths, and a total of 641,912 patients have recovered from the novel disease.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The positivity ratio reported in the last 24 hours is 9.73%.&lt;/p&gt;
