      <title>Peshawar High Court orders ban on TikTok

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Peshawar High Court (PHC) ordered on Thursday the authorities concerned to impose a ban on the popular short-video sharing app TikTok.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to details, a hearing was conducted in PHC on a petition filed by an Advocate Nazish Muzaffar to ban TikTok, a mobile app used by teenagers to make and share videos, in Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Speaking during proceedings, CJP Peshawar High Court Justice Qaiser Khan stated that the videos uploaded on TikTok are against our cultural and moral values.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Director General Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (DG PTA) told court that they have requested TikTok authorities to regulate inappropriate and obscene content.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;“Till the time TikTok authorities do not cooperate with you to stop immoral content, we are imposing a ban on this app,” CJP PHC reploed.&lt;/p&gt;
