      <title>Pak/ Covid: 50 plus casualties reported for the third consecutive day

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Of late, a spike is seen in daily coronavirus-related deaths in Pakistan as more than 50 casualties have been reported for the third day in a row.&lt;/strong&gt;  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A total of &lt;strong&gt;37,998&lt;/strong&gt; Covid tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, out of which &lt;strong&gt;1,579&lt;/strong&gt; returned positive.   &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the last 24 hours (on 4th March), the deadly flu bug claimed at least &lt;strong&gt;52&lt;/strong&gt; more lives in the country. Death tallies on the previous two days remained over 50 as well as on 3rd March, &lt;strong&gt;63&lt;/strong&gt; people died due to Covid while on 2nd March, at least &lt;strong&gt;75&lt;/strong&gt; succumbed to the viral infection.  &lt;/p&gt;

New cases (last 24 hours): 1,579  

Total deaths: 13,128
New deaths (last 24 hours): 52  

Total recovered: 556,769  

Positivity rate of last 24 hours: 4.1%

Active cases: 17,117  

Critical cases: 1,551
