KARACHI: Gold prices on Monday gained some momentum on the local market, traders said.

An increase of Rs 400 in the yellow metal price pushed its value to Rs 110,750 per tola.

Price of gold per 10 grams grew by Rs 343 to Rs 94,950 on the domestic market.

Gold was quoted trading for $1798 per ounce on the world market.

Silver was available for Rs 1,400 per tola, up by Rs 20, Rs 1200.27 per 10 grams, up by Rs 12.15 and $27.54 per ounce, traders said___Recorder
