      <title>NAB files case against Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah over 'misuse of power'

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday has filed a corruption case against Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in an accountability court in Islamabad over alleged misuse of power in the province’s energy-related projects, reported local media.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to the details, the anti-corruption watchdog filed the reference against him for misusing the power in the disbursement of funds for energy-related projects in Sindh. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As per the reference, Murad Ali Shah, Abdul Ghani Majeed, and 15 other persons have embezzled public funds worth billions using Nooriabad Power Company and Sindh Transmission and Dispatch Company.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Murad Ali Shah is also facing separate inquires by the Accountability Bureau over embezzlement in Roshan Sindh Programme and benami accounts cases.&lt;/p&gt;
