According to the details, the committee, led by PIA General Manager Wing Commander Kamran Anjum will probe into irregularities in hiring of staff in the previous tenure and investigate the PIA officials as well as members of Skyrooms Private Limited, reads the notification issued by PIA.

Other members of the committee include PIA’s Human Resources manager Nasir Hussain, Assistant Manager Legal Services Haroon Rasheed Abbasi, and Senior Officer IT Syed Muhammad Ahsan reported Business Recorder.

The investigation team will not only probe into irregularities but also devise a mechanism for the future to prevent from illegal hiring of daily wage staff.

The Kamran Anjum-led team is expected to submit a report with recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the national carrier within three days.
