The meeting is discussing the overall economic and political situation of the country.

With Prime Minister Imran Khan chairing the meeting, a plan to counter PDM's narrative is expected to be finalized with political developments, economic situation and the developing pandemic also on the agenda. Economic Affairs Division is expected to give a briefing to the cabinet on utilisation of foreign funds, while Petroleum Division will brief the ministers about planning pertaining to gas. Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Ministry of Interior will provide a timeframe for the removal of illegal encroachments on Margalla Road.

A summary about the posting of FC in Gilgit-Baltistan will be presented for approval, while the reformation of PEMRA Council of Complaints is also to be discussed.

Other agendas include illegal construction on railway land in Nowshera and the appointment of Director General of Hydrocarbon Development Institute.
