Covid-19 is still one of the burning topics in Pakistan as total cases have reached 469,482.

According to statistics provided by the National Command Operation Center (NCOC), 2,260 new cases were detected in the last 24 hours and 63 patients died due to coronavirus-related reasons.

Currently, the number of active coronavirus cases in Pakistan is 39,177. Out of which, 2,357 are in critical condition.

Health experts have appealed to the masses to adhere to SOPs put in place by the local authorities to stem the spread of the deadly bug. Several pieces of research have proved that just wearing masks reduces the risk of contracting the virus significantly. If social distancing is also practiced this risk reduces further. So these two practices must be exercised if we are to conquer the lethal virus.
