&lt;p&gt;In terms of total coronavirus infections reported, Pakistan is 28th worst-hit country in the world. The number of coronavirus cases has reached &lt;strong&gt;398,024&lt;/strong&gt; in the country. 2,839 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. &lt;strong&gt;341,423&lt;/strong&gt; people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;At least 40 Pakistanis died due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the national death tally to &lt;strong&gt;8,025&lt;/strong&gt;.  &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Among the provinces, Punjab has reported the most number of coronavirus deaths in the country. Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are second and third respectively. Islamabad has reported way more deaths than Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan. The province-wise total Covid fatalities are given as below: &lt;/p&gt;
