Details of this bilateral meeting were revealed by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar on Twitter. The DG ISPR took to Twitter on Friday and revealed that issues of regional security, cooperation in all fields of defense and security were discussed in the meeting:

"Egypt's Ambassador to Pakistan met COAS. Regional security, cooperation in all fields of defense [and] security discussed. “Pak & Egypt enjoy brotherly relations & emphasized need 4 enhancing bilateral coop in all spheres," said COAS. The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace [and] stability."
