According to the ISPR, the terrorists fired on the security forces' check post. The security forces promptly responded. Operation is in progress for area clearance.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the check post of security forces in South Waziristan.

In their statements, they expressed deep grief over the loss of lives of two sepoys in the attack.

They also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
