&lt;p&gt;The second wave of Covid has been dominating several major cities of Pakistan for the past couple of weeks. The number of cases has been rising gradually and the coronavirus-related fatalities are also surging in the country. Just in the past 24 hours, 37 Pakistanis succumbed to the viral disease. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to the statistics provided by the federal government, the latest coronavirus situation of Pakistan is as follows: &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;CONFIRMED CASES: 352,296&lt;br /&gt;
Last 24 hours: 2,304  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;DEATHS: 7,092&lt;br /&gt;
Last 24 hours: 37  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;RECOVERED: 321,563&lt;br /&gt;
Last 24 hours: 714  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;TOTAL TESTS: 4,847,105&lt;br /&gt;
Last 24 hours: 36,923  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;CRITICAL CASES: 1,219&lt;br /&gt;
Last 24 hours: 55  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The cases and deaths are rising at an alarming rate. In the past week, 12,045 new cases and 169 new deaths were reported in the country. Government and public health experts have urged the public to follow coronavirus SOPs and especially avoid big social gatherings to contain the virus. &lt;/p&gt;
