A Sindh High Court (SHC) judge on Monday had ordered police to recover Arzoo — a 13-year-old Christian girl who was allegedly abducted, forcibly converted, and forcefully married to a Muslim man. The police were also asked to shift the minor to a shelter home till the next hearing, revealed Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari.

"The judge has ordered the girl to be recovered by police and relevant agencies and shifted to a shelter home. [The] next hearing fixed for Thursday morning [November 5]. My lawyer has informed the court that an intervener will be filed on my behalf," she said on Twitter.

"Today Sindh High Court ordered that #Arzoo be immediately recovered
by Sindh Police [and] produced before Court on 5th Nov [and] in the
interim be admitted in shelter home [and] it also noted that issues to
be addressed are her age, was she forcibly converted [and] was her
